Wink, is a smart home hub with a stated mission to bring you a simpler, smarter home. As per a new blog post from May 6th, 2020 on their website, Wink is requiring a $5 USD/month subscription in order to keep your Wink hub and devices working.
This is a direct quote from their blog post here:
“Should you choose not to sign up for a subscription you will no longer be able to access your Wink devices from the app, with voice control or through the API, and your automations will be disabled on May 13.”
Unfortunately, I think this means that many of you will have to start your subscription on May 13th, or have your smart home turn into a dumb home. To that end, you can start your subscription service here: https://subscription.wink.com/login
