    However, modern TVs are designed to fit the standard wall mount that you’ll find in the market. That said, it doesn’t matter if you have Samsung, TCL, Hisense, or LG.

    And yes, the wall mount doesn’t have to be the same brand as your TV!

    How do I attach my LG TV to the wall bracket?

    Here’s what you’ll need to attach an LG TV to the wall bracket:

    • pencil or masking tape
    • tape measure
    • paper template
    • stud finder
    • level
    • power drill with a drill bit
    • Phillips head or flathead screwdriver
    • TV mount
    • screws and spacers

    Also, you’ll need an extra pair of hands to help you lift the TV and get the position right.

    These are the steps on how to mount the TV to the wall:

    1. Find the studs to mount the bracket properly.
    2. Mark where you want to put the screw on the wall.
    3. Position the mounting bracket on the wall.
    4. Drill holes through the wall into the studs in the proper position.
    5. Mount the wall bracket.
    6. Attach the mounting plate to the TV.
    7. Attach the TV mounting plate to the wall bracket.
    8. Plug in the TV to power. Done!

    Does LG OLED need a special wall mount?

    Yes, LG OLED TVs need a special wall mount.

    The reason is that the hole patterns of most LG OLED TVs have dimensions of no more than 400mm wide x 200 mm high (VESA 400 x 200) which is different to those of regular TV.
