    No Wi-Fi Connection

    There could be several reasons why your Roomba is taking a long time to connect to the internet:

    1. Poor Wi-Fi Signal: Roomba uses Wi-Fi to connect to the internet, so if the Wi-Fi signal is weak or unstable, it may take longer for Roomba to connect. Try moving your Roomba closer to the router or adding a Wi-Fi range extender to improve signal strength.
    2. Router Compatibility Issues: Some older routers may not be compatible with newer Roomba models. Make sure your router is compatible with your Roomba and that both devices are running the latest firmware.
    3. Network Congestion: If there are many devices connected to your Wi-Fi network, it may be experiencing congestion, which can slow down the connection speed for all devices. Try disconnecting some devices or upgrading to a faster internet plan.
    4. Roomba Software Issues: If your Roomba is running an outdated or buggy software version, it may have trouble connecting to the internet. Make sure your Roomba is running the latest firmware and try resetting the device.
    5. Firewall or Security Settings: If your router or network has strict firewall or security settings, it may be blocking Roomba’s connection to the internet. Check your router or network settings to ensure that Roomba is allowed to connect.

    If you still fail to make it work and your unit still has a warranty, contact customer care as soon as possible. 

    They will help you through the troubleshooting process and might even replace your unit with the new one. You can’t resolve technical issues by yourself.

    The device will stop communicating with the cloud if the internet isn’t working.
