EcoFlow’s most powerful backup yet
EcoFlow has taken home backup to a new level with the Delta Pro Ultra X paired with the Smart Home Panel 3. This system is the most powerful and expandable option the brand has released so far, handling nearly three times as many circuits as the previous model.
The combination of massive energy storage and intelligent control ensures your essential devices remain powered during brief outages or long-term interruptions. Keep reading to discover how this system can completely transform the way your home manages power.
Enough power to handle every device
The Delta Pro Ultra X has a twelve-kilowatt output that can expand to thirty-six kilowatts when paired with additional units. That allows you to run multiple high-energy devices at the same time, including ovens, dryers, air conditioning units, microwaves, and HVAC systems.
A two-battery configuration provides 12 kWh of storage, and larger configurations can scale much higher for extended backup needs. The system also accepts high solar input, which can recharge the batteries quickly while keeping energy flowing to your home.
Monitor and control usage easily
With EcoFlow’s app, you can track energy consumption down to the individual circuit. You can preset which circuits should receive backup power, manually turn circuits on or off, and schedule automated charging and discharging.
Notifications keep you informed when the system switches to backup during an outage. The interface makes it simple to understand your home’s energy patterns and gives precise control over how your power is distributed in real time.
Charge from solar, grid, or generator
You have multiple ways to keep your system powered. EcoFlow supports high solar input across two ports, each capable of five kilowatts, for a total of ten kilowatts. Batteries can also be charged from the grid or a generator.
The smart inlet box handles switching automatically, removing the risk of backfeeding electricity into the grid. This flexibility ensures the system can adapt to your available energy sources and provides backup even when one option is not available.
Save money by timing energy use
The app allows scheduling of charging and discharging to take advantage of lower electricity rates. You can charge batteries when rates are low and use stored energy during high-rate periods. Solar input reduces dependence on the grid, lowering energy costs over time.
This scheduling feature also helps the system pay for itself gradually while promoting efficient energy use. Even without variable rates, the ability to monitor and manage consumption can improve household efficiency and reduce waste.
Installation is smooth and fast
EcoFlow pairs you with a local installer who handles permits and ensures everything meets local requirements. Installation typically takes under a day, and temporary power stations can keep essential devices running during the process.
The system is configured through the app after installation, allowing naming of circuits and setting schedules. While permit approval times vary by municipality, once approved, the process is straightforward and designed to minimize disruptions to daily life.
Automated backup ensures continuous operation
Automated switching is at the heart of this system. During testing, the setup handled multiple outages seamlessly without manual intervention. The internet and critical appliances stayed online, and the lights flickered only briefly.
Notifications tell you which circuits are active and for how long, allowing for full awareness of energy status. This hands-off approach makes the system reliable for everyday use without requiring constant attention or adjustment.
Power your home for a full day
Runtime depends on household energy demand and system size, but EcoFlow’s expandable design allows capacity to scale from 12 kWh to as much as 180 kWh. Homes with higher energy demands can expand capacity through additional batteries or power stations.
This removes the need to ration energy during outages and ensures that everyday activities, including cooking, cleaning, and climate control, can continue without compromise. The flexibility to scale storage and output gives homeowners confidence in continuous power availability.
Expandable design fits any household
Plug-and-play expandability allows you to grow the system over time. Adding batteries or additional power stations is straightforward, and the app automatically updates total energy capacity.
Whether you have a small home or a larger property with multiple circuits, the system can be customized to meet your requirements. This design ensures long-term flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing energy needs or household growth.
Generator support is fully automated
The smart inlet box removes the need for manual generator interlocks. Simply plug a generator into the designated port, and the system automatically switches over.
This ensures continuous backup and battery charging during extended outages without manual intervention. It simplifies operation and improves safety by preventing electricity from accidentally feeding back into the grid.
Real-world testing confirms reliability
The system has been tested in real-world conditions and performed reliably. Short and extended outages were handled without dropping power to critical circuits. Automation, modular design, and app monitoring all work together to provide a seamless experience.
Homeowners can trust the system to handle unpredictable events without requiring constant adjustments or manual intervention.
Designed for safety and convenience
EcoFlow’s setup balances safety and ease of use. Smart inlet boxes prevent backfeed to the grid, app controls reduce manual operation, and storm monitoring keeps batteries ready at all times.
The combination of these features provides convenience, minimizes risk, and ensures your home remains powered safely during any situation, giving homeowners peace of mind and reliable control over energy usage even during unpredictable weather or extended outages.
