via IFTTT Your Smart Home Questions Answered – The Best Smart Home Lighting
This is the first in a series of Smart Home question answering videos where the questions come from you, my subscribers. When you ask questions on the channel, I will pick a few and answer them using these bi-weekly videos and give you my full answer as it relates to your smart home, home automation, and even life and business automation.
This week’s questions relate to smart home lighting. Specifically, Maxim Maximov asked a couple questions about which lights, bulbs, or systems are best and whether or not certain hubs were needed.
Maxim’s first question was if he needed to still buy the Philips Hue bridge, or if he could get away without buying one in 2018 or 2019. Well, the short answer is, sorry…you’re going to need that bridge. Here’s a link (affiliate) to them: https://amzn.to/2roIXM4

His other question was, which smart lighting system would I use if I had to start my smart home again. So basically, what smart light system should he buy? Well, that’s a long and complex discussion, but I explain it all in this video!
Question 1 starts at: 1:10, while question 2 starts at: 2:50.
