via IFTTT Fitbit Charge 2 Review – iOS and Android Setup
The Fitbit Charge 2 is one of the premiere fitness devices on the market today. It’s nearly a fully automated fitness tracking device with a lot of great capabilities. In this video, I take you through a full review of the Fitbit Charge 2 and then show you how to setup the Fitbit Charge 2 on iOS as well as on Android.
I start off the video by showing you what it looks like and what you get when you order one of these watches. it’s a pretty small and sleek fitness device. I show you how it senses your heart rate and some of the basic functions. I show you how the charger works as well.
One of the most interesting things I found with this watch is actually that it reacts better to being tapped on the wristband than when tapped on the screen.
From there, I show you how to download the iPhone app and then set up the Fitbit Charge 2 on said app. Keep in mind, the Android application is the same (and I used it later in the video to sync data as well). I show you how to pair the Fitbit Charge 2 to your iPhone using Bluetooth.
Once the Fitbit and our iPhone are paired, I show you all of the functions in the iOS app. You can track exercise, sleep, how often you’re moving on an hourly basis, your heart rate, your weight, your water intake, and calorie intake. Each of those items has graphs associated and different capabilities.
The iOS app for Fitbit lets you set specific goals and then the watch (and app) rewards you for meeting those goals. From there, you can adjust them and make things a little more difficult for yourself. It’s great to have such an easy system to work towards fitness goals.
There are also challenges and even a friends component to the application.
Finally, I show you how to sync your data and what all of the graphs and data looks like. The sleep function is simply amazing and I love the data I get in relation to how well I’m sleeping. It’s instantly helped me.
The final thing I do on this video is I review the product. Simply put, this is a great home automation and fitness product. The Fitbit Charge 2 is something I intend to use going forward.
